During the visit of Professor Anatoliy Shevchenko, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, to Lviv Polytechnic National University, an agreement was signed on cooperation in informatics and artificial intelligence research projects.
Recently, Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University Professor Yuriy Bobalo and Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Anatoliy Shevchenko signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence systems.
The Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine together with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv organized and held the XVII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems".

On June 14-15, 2017, the staff of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence took part in the First Annual Global Cyber Security Summit (GCS), which was held at the Congress and Exhibition Center "Parkovy". GCS was an unprecedented international event and was fully supported by a number of governmental and institutional organizations in Ukraine (the Committee on Informatization and Communications of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Office of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine).

On September 14-15, 2016, the staff of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems took part in the EU information forum dedicated to the presentation of the research cooperation program between the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission and Ukraine.
