The Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems participated in the meeting of the Academic Council of the State Institution "Center for Innovative Medical Technologies" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

On November 22, 2024, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at the State Institution "Center for Innovative Medical Technologies" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, chaired by the director, Professor Ivan Todurov. Researchers from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine were invited to the council. Professor Anatolii Shevchenko, Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, delivered a comprehensive report titled "Artificial Intelligence: Achievements of Global and Ukrainian Science, Business, and the Implementation of Systems with AI Elements in Medicine, Particularly in Psychology."

During the meeting, discussions also focused on collaboration between institutions in the field of advanced IT technologies and modern medicine to address the needs of the front line.

It was decided to continue scientific research and implement chatbots "Surgeon," "Gynecologist," and "Traumatologist-Orthopedist" in medical practice.

A joint agreement between the institutions was signed.

According to the transfer act, Anatolii Shevchenko handed over inclusive usage rights for intellectual property to the Center for Innovative Medical Technologies of Ukraine. This included the chatbots "Oncologist" and "Psychologist," developed by researchers from the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems. A flash drive containing the software product was presented, receiving positive feedback from the members of the Academic Council.
