Implementation of the Scientific Results of the "Frontline Fundamental Science" Project

In Ukraine, the implementation of new information technologies in the field of medical and wellness institutions is gaining momentum. These institutions are focused on the treatment and rehabilitation of patients who have experienced prolonged stress, including combatants, particularly those recovering from injuries.

Scientists from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IAIP) organized on-site seminars to train doctors in using AI-based medical systems. These seminars were held at the "Kvitka Polonyny" Sanatorium in Zakarpattia Oblast and the "Dnipro-Beskid" Sanatorium in Truskavets, Lviv Oblast. During these scientific seminars, in a formal setting, the General Director of "Kvitka Polonyny" Sanatorium, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Education and Science, PhD Pavlo Pavlovych Haninets, and the General Director of "Dnipro-Beskid" Sanatorium, Academician of the European Academy of Human Problems, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Ivanovych Chebanenko, were presented with AI-powered chatbot systems, "Psychologist" and "Oncologist."

These advanced AI-driven chatbots, "Psychologist" and "Oncologist," were developed and introduced to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine by scientists from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems in collaboration with researchers and medical experts from institutions of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, under the leadership of the Academy’s President, Academician Vasyl Kremen. The "Psychologist" chatbot, designed with deep learning capabilities, is aimed at providing consultations and treatment for military personnel and patients with psychological trauma.

During the signing of the agreement and the acceptance-transfer act, the intellectual property and exclusive rights for its use were transferred to the General Director of the "Kvitka Polonyny" Sanatorium, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Education and Science, PhD Pavlo Pavlovych Haninets.

During the signing of the cooperation agreement and the transfer act, the exclusive rights to use the "Psychologist" and "Oncologist" chatbots were granted to the General Director of the "Dnipro-Beskid" Sanatorium, Academician of the European Academy of Human Problems, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Ivanovych Chebanenko.

In the first and second photos, the transfer of the high-tech product to the two institutions was carried out by the Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Professor Anatolii Shevchenko.
