The first scientific-practical conference "Spirituality as a component of Ukrainian statehood"

On April 9-10, Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture hosted the First Scientific and Practical Conference "Spirituality as a Component of Ukrainian Statehood", dedicated to the study of the fundamental role of spirituality in the process of building a nation, state, society and personality. The conference was initiated by the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and personally by its director, Professor Anatoliy Ivanovych Shevchenko.

The interdisciplinary focus of the scientific meeting was provided by a wide range of specialists from various fields of scientific and practical activities - among the organizers of the conference were Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture, The National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute", All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Registered Cossacks”, Public Organization "Academy of Military Historical Sciences and Cossacks", Public organization "Separate scientific and educational center of the Ukrainian Cossacks named after Gregory Skovoroda", Public scientific organization "Kharkiv Research Institute of the Cossacks".

The organizing committee of the Conference received more than 250 scientific papers. During the event, scientists and professors of technical and humanitarian higher educational institutions of Ukraine and foreign countries and well-known theologians of Ukraine made more than 100 scientific reports. The main purpose of the international conference was to create guidelines that will be proposed to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for approval and, subsequently, can be used by teachers of schools, lyceums, colleges, vocational schools, etc. to improve the spiritual level of youth.

The participants of the conference, including many heads of higher education institutions and their departments, thanked its inspirer - the head of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks, director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and NAS of Ukraine, Professor Anatoly Shevchenko and expressed hope that the first conference will be the beginning of a new tradition, and later scholars will gather for another conferences on the problem of spirituality.
