Final Council of Vice-Rectors for Research of Ukrainian Universities and Directors of Research Institutes of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

On December 22, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine hosted the final council of vice-rectors for scientific work of Ukrainian universities and directors of research institutes of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems was represented by the director of the institute, Professor Shevchenko.

The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Mykhailivna Hrynevych emphasized in her thorough report that from next year the emphasis of science will be reformatted on achieving concrete applied results and commercialization of the scientific product.

For more effective introduction of the latest technologies in the defense of Ukraine, industry and agriculture, from 2019, basic funding for science will be introduced. The Council unanimously supported the innovations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
