XVII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems"

The Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine together with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv organized and held the XVII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems".

Scientists from Ukraine, the USA, Poland, Belarus, and Germany made their scientific reports. The conference was attended by 3 academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 5 corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 10 doctors of sciences, 17 candidates of sciences.

The scientific reports addressed issues related to modern scientific research in the creation of intelligent robots and systems, namely: it is necessary to give these works such human qualities as self-learning, artificial consciousness, conscience, the right to make mistakes and more. What should be done, for example, so that robots do not see human as their enemy, which must be destroyed.

The director of the world-famous Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine suggested considering the opposite problem: not only a person anticipates a future threat, but also intelligent systems that now control the use of weapons of mass destruction. Artificial intelligence should help humanity to solve problems.
